How the idea of Herbal Brews for Healing came to be
There’s no doubt about it, medication is sometimes unaffordable. On top of that, sometimes the medication to treat the ailment has more risky side effects than the ailment itself. So how do we help ourselves heal so that we can be and feel our best selves?
The aim of these workshops is to show participants how they can effectively heal themselves with herbal brews, using herbs they already have in their kitchen, or are easily obtained at the supermarket on your next grocery run. Feeling better when you are run down or in pain shouldn’t be compromised because you can’t afford the prescription your doctor gave you.
Herbal Brews for Healing will show you how you can avoid the compromise and feel better while doing it.
Dates
Since workshops are held online via video conference, dates are flexible and are based on the needs of the individual/group. Please make sure to have your calendar available during your consultation call.
Overview
Learning Lenormand is a three series workshop that focuses on teaching participants the alternate side of tarot and oracle cards, and reading/using the cards in your life. Lenormand is a cartomancy system that uses 36 instantly recognizable images. The images are mostly based on popular fables of the 18th century and tell a story. They relate to everyday life, and are easy to read and easy to learn because they are based on what each image a means to each reader.
Workshop Description
During these workshops, participants will learn about Lenormand history as well as the card images and what they represent, make their own set of Lenormand cards, and learn various spreads. They will further gain the confidence to regularly read for themselves either on a daily basis or when they need help with making decisions, as well as read for others.
Workshops are available for individuals, or groups of up to eight people. They will be taught via Google Meet and a link to the workshop session will be emailed to you 24 hours before each session.
Workshop Details
Session one is two hours and goes over the history of Lenormand. It also consists of learning the images and what each one means, as well as crafting a personal deck from scratch. Once payment is received for the workshop, I will email the list of suggested items needed to make a deck of cards. Participants will also need pen and paper so that they can write down their own understanding of each image.
Don't fret if you can't paint or draw, half the fun of creating your own cards is being creative in your depictions. The main focus of having participants make their own cards is so that they infuse as much of their own energy into their cards as possible. This will ensure that the cards become more and more accurate for the readings that participants do outside the workshops.
Additionally, the cards crafted in session one will be the ones used in sessions two and three, which are the layout and reading sessions.
Sessions two is up to two hours. The length depends on everyone's understanding of how to read the cards. Here we will work on two and three card readings where each participant will have the chance to read for themselves and at least one other person in the class.
Session three is two hours. We will work on five, seven, and nine card readings, and if there is time, participants will have the opportunity to do a reading for someone else. Participants will also receive a list of fun activities that can be done with Lenormand cards, as well as other useful pages.

Overview
Poetry as Therapy is a series of workshops that focuses on helping participants foster belief in themselves and their abilities through creative free writing and journaling. It helps them to draw on personal experiences and inspire healing, self-awareness, and mindfulness through life and literature.
Workshop Description
Each workshop is designed to provide a therapeutic outlet to help participants find their voice and reach self-awareness, nurture spontaneous thought, and build confidence. It garners from a participant how a particular piece makes them feel and how it relates to their life.
What is not focused on is writing what sounds good, writing what others expect a piece of writing to sound like, or following a specific form; the focus is on finding and feeding off of a piece’s ENERGY.
These techniques open doors to positive creative expression within an individual and shows them that through words, there is healing. In addition, the workshops strive to provide a caring and open atmosphere where participants can feel comfortable releasing pent-up feelings and explore themselves, and others, through sharing, writing and experiencing.
Workshops are available for individuals, or groups of up to eight people. They will be taught via Google Meet and are approximately 2 hours in length. A link to the workshop session will be emailed to you 24 hours before each session.
